FAQ

Guardrail questions, answered

Where on the east coast does East Coast Guardrail work?

We install and repair guardrail right along the east coast — Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter, the NSW North Coast, Brisbane and South East Queensland, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin, and North and Far North Queensland.

Are your road safety barriers MASH compliant?

Yes. We supply and install crash-tested systems that meet MASH and the relevant Australian Standards and TMR requirements, including RamShield W-beam guardrail and compliant end terminals.

Do you supply guardrail without installation?

We do. Supply-only orders of guardrail panels, posts, blockouts, terminals and hardware can be delivered to your site anywhere on the east coast.

Can you repair guardrail damaged in a crash?

Yes. We carry common W-beam and thrie-beam components in stock and can mobilise crews for emergency barrier repairs, including traffic-managed works on high-volume roads.

Do you work as a guardrail subcontractor?

Yes — a large share of our work is as a specialist guardrail subcontractor to civil and road construction contractors. We price the barrier package, supply our own crews, plant and traffic management, and work to your site inductions, SWMS and construction program.

How much does guardrail installation cost?

Guardrail cost depends on the system, length of run, terminal type, post founding conditions and traffic management requirements. Send us drawings, an RFQ or photos and we will provide an itemised guardrail supply and installation quote, usually within two business days.

Do you work for local councils and government?

Most of our work is for civil contractors, local councils and state road projects. We provide documented ITPs, as-built records and product compliance certificates on completion.
